The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery’s annual conference is a wonderful opportunity to gain inspiration and knowledge from an elite group of US and international speakers and hear about the latest cosmetic and surgical dermatology trends. I always look forward to this event, and this year’s meeting in Orlando, Florida, lived up to expectations with excellent presentations, workshops and live patient demonstrations. This year’s agenda included over 90 sessions structured to enhance reconstructive and cosmetic dermatology knowledge. The opportunity to participate in discussions and observe close-up live demonstrations enhanced the learning experience and the exchange of ideas. The warm atmosphere and collegiality at this type of international gathering make for a wonderful experience.
