A referral letter from your GP is required for a consultation with a dermatologist. You will need to call the surgery to make an appointment. Please note that referrals are not required for hair removal laser and cosmetic appointments.

Please provide advance notice if you are unable to make an appointment. Failure to attend for an appointment may incur a fee.

The fees charged in the practice for consultations and procedures are based on a schedule established by the Australian Medical Association. Payment is required at the time of consultation. For certain cosmetic procedures payment is required in advance.

A skin biopsy may be required to establish a diagnosis. A skin biopsy is a simple 10 minute procedure performed with local anaesthetic. Biopsy specimens are analysed by a pathologist who will send you a separate account.

We adhere to strict standards for infection control. All instruments are sterilised according to National guidelines, or are disposable single use.
